For a parent who has lost a child to addiction, alcoholism, fentanyl poisoning, or suicide, the world can suddenly become a place filled with silence, loneliness, and unimaginable heartbreak. Many feel as though no one could possibly understand the depth of their grief, and they couldn’t unless they too sadly are in the same despicable group. Angel parents need each other because we understand the depth of pain.
Then they arrive at Crystal's Heart Healing House.
For the first time in a long time, they are surrounded by people who truly understand. They are welcomed with open arms instead of questions. They cry without apology. They laugh without guilt. They speak their child's name freely. They honor precious memories, build lasting friendships, and begin taking their first steps toward healing.
This house has witnessed countless tears, quiet conversations on the porch, candlelight ceremonies, heartfelt embraces, and moments when hope slowly found its way back into a parent's life.
It has become sacred ground.
But today, this sanctuary is at risk.
Although Crystal's Heart Healing House has become a place of hope for hundreds of grieving families, we do not own the home. We lease it. At any time, circumstances beyond our control could force us to leave through the sale of the property, changes in the lease, or rising costs. If that happens, the place that has brought comfort to so many could simply disappear.
We cannot let that happen.
The Home of Hope Campaign is our commitment to preserving this extraordinary place forever. Our goal is to purchase the home so it will always remain a sanctuary where grieving parents can come to heal, remember, and rediscover hope.
